1)  Mandatory - Rutgers Certifications - all coaches and parents volunteers who are on the field with the athletes must be Rutgers Certified and provide copy of card to the Westwood Softball Board. - You can look on the web for available classes.  This is a state requirement! Please provide proof to the WSA board for their files.

2) Mandatory - Background Checks (only good for one year) -

you will need to show proof of a background check and provide a copy to the

WSA board for their files.  This is mandatory for anyone coaching or volunteering

with the athletes. 

Please go to the ASA website to register and submit for the test (only the background check, not the ACE Certification Test).  The website is: https//www.registerasa.com.  Once the background check has been completed, you will receive a card in the mail.  A copy of the card must be submitted to the WSA Board.  It only takes a few minutes to do.
